Regulation

 

Article 1

The Unirun is an athletic competition promoted for the 12 Catalan Universities through the ECU (Espor Català Universitari), the “Secretaria General de l’Esport i l'Activitat Física” and the Ajuntament de Sant Adrià de Besós” and organized by Gaudium Sports, S.L.

Article 2

The ninth Unirun will take place on March 5, 2023. The start will take place at 9:30 am.

Article 3

The route is a 5.000 meters circuit. The organization could modify the route by external cause and/or force majeure.

The time limit to do the test will be 1 hour. After this time, the participants, who are still on route, can continue running, under their responsibilities and follow the traffic rules circulation.

The starting arch will close 10 minutes after the start of the race. Participants who arrive later to the starting line will not have access to the circuit.

Article 4

The running is open to athletes from all the world, federates or not. All the runners take part in the event under their responsibility, knowing if their physical condition is enough to complete the running.
To participate you must be born in 2007 or before. The runners who are not 18 years old yet the day of the event, must provide written consent by the parents, where the ID, name and surname is recorded to complete the registration form.

Article 5

Race numbers are personal and non-transferable; you cannot give or sell your number to another person. It’s not allowed to participate in with an unofficial race number. Entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred or transferred.

Article 6

All the participants will receive a chip in the number. If runners who have their own chip have indicated their chip number during the registration, they won’t receive a chip. There are 3 timekeeping points: at the start line, in the middle of the race and at the finish line.

Article 7

With the inscription, each participant will receive a technical t-shirt. The organization recommends wearing the t-shirt during the race.

Article 8

There is an overall individual time classification, receiving awards the 3 first classifieds in the male category and 3 first classified in the female competition. Also, there are awards for the first male and female classifieds of each University, for the winner University and the male and female winner University.
The amount of point of the 10 first males and 10 first female of each University will be considered to now the University winner, the male and female winner University.
For the individual classification the organization will consider the time in order of arrival and for the winning university, the real-time.

Article 9

To pick up the number, the runners have to show their registration receipt and their ID. The number must be visible on the front part of the body during all the race. The number and chip have to be picked up on the dates and schedules established by the organization.

Article 10

It will be a refreshment point on the finish zone.

Article 11

The participant, by virtue of registering for the Race, declares and assures to Gaudium Sports that he is in perfect health, and does not suffer from any illness or condition that impedes his participation, and exonerates to Gaudium Sports and the collaborators and sponsors of the race of any responsibility related to the physical activity to be performed and of the inaccuracy of this health declaration.

Article 12

Unirun will accomplish with all preventive measures against the spread of COVID-19 valids at the day race.
The staff of the organization will ensure the compliance with the rules by the participants.

Article 13

The organization will have an insurance policy.

Article 14

The safety on the street is a responsibility of the Guardia Urbana de Barcelona and the Policia Local de Sant Adrià de Besòs. The official medical services are authorized to move away from a participant for medical reasons.

Article 15

By registering for the Unirun, the participants give their consent to Gaudium Sports, S.L., by itself or through third parties, to treat their personal data automatically and exclusively for sports, promotional or commercial purposes.

The responsible for the data processing is Gaudium Sports SL.

Every person has the right to ask the responsible for access to their data, rectification or deletion, or the limitation of their treatment, and to oppose the processing, as well as the right to the portability of their data. This right can be exercised by mail addressed to [email protected].

The interested person can submit a claim to the control authority, Spanish Agency for Data Protection (www.aepd.es).

Likewise, and in accordance with the sports interests, promotion, distribution and exploitation of the Unirun (reproduction of photographs of the test, publication of qualifying lists, etc.) by any device (Internet, advertising, etc.) and without a time limit, those registered expressly assign to the organization the right to reproduce the name and surnames, the place obtained in the general classification, the sports brand made and its image.

The participant authorizes the transfer of personal data to third parties, exclusively for the purpose of organizing sporting events.

This authorization is always revocable, without retroactive effects, and at any time the consent given may be denied or exercise any of the rights mentioned by mail or letter to Gaudium Sports SL.

Article 16

Motorized vehicles or bicycles that don’t belong to the organization, are not allowed. The vehicles motorized o bicycles that belong to the organization will have an accreditation.

Article 17

The total or partial cancellation of the event due to random causes or force majeure not attributable to Unirun, will not give rise to the refund of the registration fee. Unirun will offer, instead of the refund, a registration for the Unirun 2024.

Article 18

This regulatiom is subject to possible changes according to the indications and sanitary or governmental restrictions.

Article 19

The participants in the Unirun accept all the articles on this regulation.
